The Titanic was the new beginning of how ships were going to be made in the future. The Titanic was built with such luxurious features and amazing aspects that everyone in the world wanted to see it. Shipbuilders around the world admired the beauty of the ship and how great of a ship it was.
Built with watertight compartments and stunning luxury, cruise liners that were built after the Titanic were made just like it. Shipbuilders thought it was a great idea to build their ships with watertight compartments just like the Titanic's so they could almost assure the passengers that the ship would never sink. The watertight compartments would activate a sensor when the ship filled up with water to a certain point and the compartments would quickly shut to prevent the rest of the compartments to flood. The top priority of building a massive cruise liner is safety, which is what people thought that the Titanic had.
Also, the Titanic's luxury astounded many people. It had many things that were never on a cruise liner before, such as an indoor heated swimming pool and a huge cafe. People were attracted to the Titanic especially because of its luxury. It was very fancy but very expensive to get on the ship. Since the luxurious interior of the ship attracted people, shipbuilders wanted to build their ships with features that were similar to the Titanic's so that people would want to go on them. The Titanic is one of the reasons why ships have been changed and innovated to become safer and more luxurious.
